St. Margaret's Managed Care Department works closely with insurance companies, physicians, local |

businesses, PPO's (Preferred Provider Organizations) and HMO's (Health Maintenance Organizations) in |
|
an effort to provide the highest quality health care at the most competitive prices. In addition, a PHO |
|
(Physician Hospital Organization) has been formed, called SMHO (St. Margaret's Health Organization), to |
|
enable both St. Margaret's and its physicians to work together in a managed care contracting. For more |
