Primary Duties:
Mops floors, corridors, and stairwells. Strips old floor finish and applies new floor finish as needed. Burnish floors, wet extracts floor mats and carpets. Cleans equipment and checks/refills water level in battery-operated equipment. Cleans used floor pads. Assists with room set-ups, soiled linen and waste collection and patient room cleaning as assigned. Assists with spill clean-ups and relocation of furniture.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must have good reading and writing skills. Previous floor care experience in a health care facility would be beneficial. Floor maintenance certification optional.
