Primary Duties:
To provide holistic patient care in a respectful, safe, individualized manner, which will aid the patient in attaining and maintaining an optimum level of health and promote optimum quality patient care. Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director, the phlebotomist assumes the responsibility for performing venipuncture and related procedures under the philosophy, policies, and procedures established by the hospital and department.
Qualifications:
Needs to be a High school graduate or GED equivalent. Medical assistant or phlebotomy certification preferred. Experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting preferred. Must have excellent customer relation skills. Requires current CPR certification.
