Primary Duties:

Using “level of care” criteria to determine appropriateness of admission and extended duration reviews. Performs admission and concurrent review of all patients.  Assists physicians and hospital personnel in timely transfers of patients to ensure continuity of care.  Records all appropriate documentation to assist in proper receipt of payment and to prevent denials.  Maintains knowledge of community services and acts as a resource for hospital staff.
